2. These terms

These terms apply to orders placed on www.flycaledonia.co.uk by consumers in the UK. Photography and filming work that Francis quotes for is covered by the quote itself, not by these terms. Trade orders are agreed separately.

3. Your order

Your order is accepted, and a contract formed, when your payment goes through and you are shown the order confirmation. A receipt is emailed to you. If for any reason we cannot make or send what you ordered, for example a frame becomes unavailable, Francis will tell you and refund you in full.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling. Fly Caledonia is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. Postage is shown in your basket and at checkout before you pay; see delivery & returns for the rates.

Payment is taken at checkout by Stripe, a regulated payment provider. Your card details go to Stripe directly: Fly Caledonia never sees or stores them.

If a price on the site is obviously wrong, for example a framed print listed at a fraction of its real price, we will contact you before sending anything and you can cancel for a full refund.

5. Delivery, cancellation and returns

Dispatch times, postage, what happens if something arrives damaged, and your right to cancel within 14 days are all set out on the delivery & returns page, which forms part of these terms.

6. The prints themselves

The photographs on screen are shown as faithfully as possible, but every screen shows colour slightly differently, so a print may look a little different from how it appears on your device. Frame and mount photographs show the product; the grain of a natural frame varies from one to the next. Mount sizes are the outside size of the mount.

7. Copyright

Every photograph remains the copyright of Francis McCafferty. Buying a print, card or calendar gives you the physical item to enjoy, not the right to copy, scan, reproduce or publish the photograph. For licensing or commercial use, get in touch.

8. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to keep to these terms we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. We are not responsible for business losses: the shop sells to consumers for private use. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer.

If something is not right, contact Francis first using the details above. Most things are sorted with one email.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you live elsewhere in the UK you can bring proceedings in the courts of Scotland or of the part of the UK where you live.
